Welcome to the [2098] Community
* We are currently recruiting with focuses on Team Fortress 2.
* Post a breif summary on who you are on forums to apply to the [2098] Community.
* Wearing our tag without authorization will result in a ban.
* Membership in our Community Group does NOT mean membership in the clan.
* Clan members can be dismissed at any time for any reason.
Here's a list of our recruiting requirements for the [2098] Community.
If you're interested in joining the [2098] Community, there are three primary requirements that must be met:
* Registration and the use of our Ventrilo. Host name: vent30.gameservers.com Port: 5042
* Registration on and use of our forums. We require that you occasionally check up on our forums. Our forums are a great way to keep up with the clan 24/7 no matter where you are, drop by and send us a message.
* Reasonable levels of attendance. If you're going to be absent for a long period of time, posting on the forums or contacting an Officer is required.
Along with our three primary requirements, the [2098] does have some other important rules we go by when recruiting.
*The [2098] Community DOES NOT normally recruit anyone under the age of 16, there are special circumstances and membership for the younger applicants will be reviewed and either accepted or denied, with or without notable reason.
*For the sake of our ears, don't have a nails on a chalkboard type of voice, and don't purposely scream over the microphone or do immature things.
*And on the topic of maturity! WE DO require that you be mature, yes we are all here to have fun, and make friends, but realize that the majority of the clan are between the ages of about 17-21, and we will not tolerate unnecessary acts of childish behavior, rude comments to either pub guys or members of the clan, nor will we tolerate things like screaming over the mic.
Now that you know the rules and requirements..WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?? It's time to join! Just follow the procedures listed above.
Obviously, more than likely if you are reading this for info, you have already played on our server and have expressed an interest to join.
Acceptable Member Tags:
[2098] - Member
=2098= - Admin
=[2098]= - Global Admin
[ATC] - ATC member
Any other tags are not allowed and you will be asked to take them off if you are wearing them and you are a member. If you are a member of 2098 it is expected you wear the 2098 tag. If you are not wearing it, and you are asked to put it on, any argument with an admin on this subject will be thought of not wanting to be part of the community. This can result in removal from the clan. ATC members that are part of 2098 are NOT exempt from wearing the 2098 tag!
